Miami Shakerettes Dance Team

​​For the past 3 years, I have been the Social Media Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the Miami Shakerettes Dance Team. I am responsible for maintaining our team’s positive digital presence through social media accounts, website, and apparel. I create content calendars to plan and manage the content going up on all accounts, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and our team’s website. Lastly, I photograph the team during football and basketball games.
Social Media
I ​design social graphics that promote team events including introducing our roster, advertising tryouts, game days, and other events across campus.
Since managing, I have 133% increase in Instagram followers, redone our website, and in the past 3 months, my posts have reached 9,050 accounts. (January 2024).
Apparel
I design apparel once a semester for friends and family to purchase based on a survey response. Apparel is directly shipped out through a vendor to our purchasers.
Photo
I photograph our team on the sidelines, at events, and at community events to generate social content.
GIFS
I have created 3 GIFS for our team to use on social platforms. These GIFS are created
through Adobe Illustrator and exported to Adobe After Effects to animate.
